Madonna’s Moscow Show Faced No Grave Law Violations
Madonna’s concert at Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, ended with no grave violations of the law, RIA Novosti reported Wednesday referring to the PR Service of Moscow Main Interior Affairs Department (GUVD).
”Overall, 23 people were detained during the event at Luzhniki Stadium and at the nearby territory,” said Yevgeny Gildeyev, spokesman of Moscow police. Some of them, were drunk, others were arrested for minor administrative violations. Seven people, for instance, attempted to hold an authorized rally near the stadium. The detained were released once they were talked to or the protocols on administrative violations were made out, Gildeyev said.

The crowd of the dance floor was the first to go out after the end of the concert. It was followed by the grandstands audience. No accidents happened, when the spectators were leaving Luzhniki, the police said.

More than 7,000 police ensured the safety of Madonna’s show, which was one of the most exciting events of the year for many Muscovites. Some 3,000 police officers were on duty in the stadium, others were stationed outside it and in the central Moscow.
