Iran Ready to Enrich Uranium with Russia
Iran is positive when it comes to Russia’s proposal on creating joint venture to enrich uranium, Ali Larijani, Iran 's supreme national security council secretary, told Moscow journalists Wednesday, RIA Novosti reports.
The offer to set up a joint venture could be a very good starting proposal but it should be viewed in complex, Larijani said. Unclear points are the whereabouts of such enterprise, conditions and procedures of experts’ involvement in the technological process, probable participation of the third countries in it. The plan could be further improved during February negotiations, according Iran's chief nuclear negotiator.

Having hailed Russia’s efforts to consider Iranian nuclear problem within IAEA, Larijani said Iran stands ready for reviving nuclear negotiations with Russia and with the European trio of France, Germany and the U.K.
