Nation’s Enemies Went to Prosecutors
Russia's right defenders filed a complaint to the General Prosecutor Office. The list of so-called Russian People Enemies is available in Internet and it spells out not only the names of right defenders but also the names of the Supreme Court judges. The list gives a detailed file on each person mentioned in it, specifying his/her address, phone number and passport data. Nationalists recommend to figurants to beware.
It was Moscow Human Rights Bureau Director Alexander Brod that announced yesterday that the list of so-called Victims of Big Game, i.e. enemies of Russia’s nationalists, was released in the Internet. It is available at: vdesyatku.net that positions itself as an agency of Russia’s news.

The figurants are Moscow Helsinki Group chief Lyudmila Alekseeva, journalist Mark Deich, Sova Anti-Extremist Center Director Alexander Verkhovsky, Holocaust Foundation head Alla Gerber, Moscow Human Rights Bureau Director Alexander Brod and other representatives of the right protection movement of the country.

What’s more, members of the Military Panel of Supreme Court that reversed the acquittal sentence for Eduard Ulman could be also found in that list. Ulman was charged with shooting peaceful population in Chechnya.

“We have brought the list to the General Prosecutor Office, requesting them to sort out the matter, but they accepted the application very unwillingly,” said Alexander Verkhovsky, whose name could be found in the list. “Besides, I brought an application to the police station at place of residence. I don’t think that mere jokes but I can’t do anything. I’m neither bureaucrat nor businessman. I can’t employ guards.”

“No one will be brought to account, as the publication of such data isn’t regarded the call for murder or beating,” said a representative of National Social Association on condition of anonymity. “This list is the thought-provoking information. But I think all persons mentioned in it would be better apprehensive about their health.”
