Luzhniki to Host a Friendly Meeting
The forum of President Vladimir Putin and United Russia followers opens at Moscow Luzhniki Stadium at 12:00. The purpose of the event that will lure roughly 5,000 is to manifest that the public at large is for Putin and Putin backs up United Russia. So, the nation will vote for United Russia at forthcoming elections.
Some 500 top-ranked members of United Russia (legislators and party leaders) will arrive at Luzhniki today. Molodaya Gvardia (Young Guard), Rossia Molodaya (Young Russia) and Nashi (Our) will provide another 2,000 and 2,500 will stand for the regions. The costs will be for United Russia’s account.
Vladimir Putin is expected in Luzhniki, at least exactly the president’s administration took the best efforts to arrange the forum, including preliminary examination of guest lists and media coverage.
Chief of United Russia’s Russian Project Ivan Demidov will host the event. The sources say the issue of Putin’s membership in the party won’t be raised, although United Russia has resumed the efforts to attract Putin into the party. “We have invited him to join the party, but I don’t know whether he will accept the invitation,” said Vladimir Gruzdev, who is the member of United Russia’s General Council.
The real purpose of today's undertaking is to present a wide coalition of party members and independents that united around the president on the threshold of elections. The forum participants have to agree on the different forms of cooperation to close a logical chain of the civil society - Vladimir Putin – Untied Russia.
