Pro-Kremlin Youth to Go On Under Plan
Activists of United Russia Young Avant-Garde, Nashy and Rossia Molodaya (Young Russia) celebrated yesterday the launch of the Putin’s Plan Election Campaign of United Russia. Although by far not all activists knew what Putin’s Plan was actually about, all of them were fond of Putin as a person.
The action – Everything Goes On Under Plan – reached even the people indifferent to politics. The venue was downtown Moscow and the traffic police together with Interior Ministry blocked Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge and Bolotnaya Square, which predictably led to a gigantic jam.

The activists of United Russia Young Avant-Garde, Nashy and Rossia Molodaya, 4,000 overall, arrived from the nearby regions by busses. The youth grouped by principle of territory and marched towards the Kremlin, chanting: “Everything Goes On Under Plan.”

They stopped at Manezhnaya Square, near Zhukov Monument. There, a big stage with plasma panels had been constructed and a red banner above it read: “Believe in Russia – Believe in Ourselves!” The website of the Young Avant-Garde and the screens were showing the progress in the get-together of youth via cameras.

The crowd was obviously enjoying itself. Young people posed for pictures with cardboard images of Vladimir Putin and Boris Gryzlov and the girls were eagerly embracing the cardboard president.

The meeting ended by balloons and confetti. As it was the last item of event’s agenda, the pro-Kremlin youth marched back to the basses with clear satisfaction.
