1000 More Reasons to Attack Iran
Chief of the Russian Joint Staff Gen. Yury Baluevsky warned the United States against attacking Iran yesterday. “The Americans should think about carefully, because they have already gotten stuck twice – in Afghanistan and Iraq,” he said. “They can damage Iran's military and industrial potential, but they can't win.” He added that “there will be repercussions from the attack around the world.”
Two new sources of conflict have sprung up between the U.S. and Iran. First, a former FBI employee has disappeared in Iran. The American citizen, an independent journalist and television producer, was in Iran for private business purposes and disappeared a month ago. He investigated organized crime when he worked for the FBI. Although his identity is not being officially made known, The Miami Herald reported recently that he is Robert Levinson, a 59-year-old resident of Coral Springs, FL. Levinson is said to have emphasized his Jewish origin and to be phenomenally capable with languages, having learned Spanish in two months once.

The second source of conflict is Iranian reports that another 1000 centrifuges are ready to begin enriching uranium. American intelligence says that they will enable Iran to complete an atomic bomb by 2009.
