Russian Tourists Murdered For No Evident Reason
Thai police promised 100,000 baht (around $3,000) for information which would allow to solve the murders of two Russian tourists from Kemerovo, Tatyana Tsimfer and Lyubov Svirkova. Tatyana’s father Vasily Tsimfer said that his daughter called him a couple of days before her death. He added that she felt some presentiments.
Kuzbass authorities asked Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help with repatriating the bodies of two Russian tourists from Kemerovo, 30-year-old Tatyana Tsimfer and 25-year-old Lyubov Svirkova. Their parents decided to bury the women together. The victims’ bodies will be brought to Russia approximately by March 1.

Tsimfer’s and Svirkova’s bodies were discovered on February 24 in the morning, on Jomthien beach of Pattaya resort in Thailand. Thai police promised yesterday 100,000 baht (around $3,000) for information which would allow to solve the murders.

Tsimfer and Svirkova came to Thailand on February 15, and were to return to Kemerovo on March 3. Their tour company refrained from giving comments.
