Tursunov Jerked from Metz
Russia's Dmitry Tursunov won the ATP Open de Moselle tournament in Metz, eastern France, with the prize fund of ˆ370,000. It is the fifth career title of the Russian and another inspiration for the fight at the Kremlin Cup that began in Moscow.
Russia’s Nikolay Davydenko prevailed at the Kremlin Cup in the last two years. Davydenko, who won three Kremlin Cups with the 2004 triumph taken into account, has been seeded the first at this tournament and is the obvious frontrunner.
But Dmitry Tursunov might create a sort of intrigue. Tursunov defeated France's Paul-Henri Mathieu in the final match of the ATP Open de Moselle tournament in Metz Sunday (7-6, 1-6, 6-4), and he is well-known exactly for the fast cover preference.
