Boeing 737 Crashed in Bishkek
Boeing 737 with around 90 aboard crashed in Manas airport of Bishkek after the takeoff. It broke into flame after falling down, Kirgizia’s Emergency Ministry reported.
A representative of Kirgiz Emergency Ministry said the jet crashed and went on fire two kilometers away from Manas international airport, near the village of Dzangi-Dzer. “All forces and facilities of Emergency Ministry have been sent to the place of the crash, we have no data on the victim number yet,” the official added.

The death toll exceeds 70, and there were no Russians on that tragic flight of Boeing 737 of Kirgiz Itek Air that was was heading for Iran, according to the latest reports. Itek Air was incorporated June 16, 1999. Its current fleet consists of Boeing 73-200s, and the airline makes nearly 600 flights a year; the traffic turnover exceeds 50,000 passengers and 70,000 tons of cargo.
