Moscow to Build Ten Bavarian Hotels
The City Hall of Moscow has allocated the land to construct ten Bavarian hotels, RIA Novosti reported. The project investor is MAVI Center Management, which has been authorized by Bavaria’s government.
The plans are to construct two hotels in Yasenevo, three in the North District, a hotel in the North-West District and another one in the South-East District. Three more hotels will be erected in the southern Moscow and close to Dmitrovskoe Highway under the standard projects.
German investors pledged to elaborate pre-project documentation and execute construction acts by 2008.
In general, the city’s authorities intend to build a hundred hotels in the downtown Moscow by 2010, which will accommodate 30,000 visitors. The accomodation lost due to rebuilding Rossia, Intourist and Moskva hotels will be set off by 2008. Overall, Moscow is going to build 230 hotels in the near term.
