Turkmen President Died of Heart Failure
The death of Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov was officially announced in Turkmenistan, Reuters reported referring to the State TV of that country.
Saparmurat Niyazov died of the sudden heart failure, the TV channels of Turkmenistan reported broadcasting the state flag in the black frame.

President for life, Turkmenbashi Niyazov, 66, led the country for more than 20 years.

The heart troubles of Niyazov were no secret actually. In 1997, he endured the coronary shunting operation in Germany, which is made if a patient has the ischemic heart disease. German cardio-surgeons visited Niyazov from time to time ever since.

Niyazov had had serious diabetes for long, the Turkmen opposition claimed.
