Russia’s Prosecutors, Britain’s Scotland Yard Interrogate Sokolenko
Russia’s prosecutors and visiting detectives of Scotland Yard are interrogating Vyacheslav Sokolenko as a witness of poisoning murder of Alexander Litvinenko, former officer of FSB, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the sources close to interrogation.
Andrey Lugovoy said that besides him and Dmitry Kovtun, Sokolenko had also met with Litvinenko in the bar of Millennium Hotel in London on the day of alleged poisoning - November 1, 2006.

Former colonel of FSB, Alexander Litvinenko died from poisoning by radioactive polonium-210 in a London clinic at night to November 24.

The following radioactive checkups of Lugovoy and Kovtun showed the positive results, while Sokolenko was clear.

Sokoloenko denied participation in that meeting at the previous interrogation, claiming he had just greeted Litvinenko near the entrance to the hotel. He said he hadn’t known Litvinenko before and arrived in London to watch the football match of Moscow CSKA and London’s Arsenal.
