Son of Former Press Minister Detained Under Chubais Case
The fourth accused of attempted murder of RAO UES CEO Anatoly Chubais was detained in Moscow, RBC.ru reported.
Ivan Mironov was detained yesterday, when leaving his house at 4:00 p.m., MSK, lawyer Viktor Vyskreptov told RBC. Mironov is suspected of having taken part in the attack on RAO UES CEO Anatoly Chubais.

Mironov, who faced official charges already, hasn’t admitted the guilt. Father of Ivan Mironov, Boris, had been detained the day before on rousing inter-ethnic hatred. Former press minister, Boris Mironov is one of the leaders of National Sovereign Party of Russia.

The motorcade of RAO UES CEO Anatoly Chubais was attacked March 17, 2005, when it was leaving Zhavoronki-village of Odintsovo district of Moscow. Chubais didn’t suffer during the attack.

Apart from Mironov, the other suspects are A. Naidenov and R. Yashin, who are former military of Airborne Forces, and V. Kvachkov, the retired colonel of General Staff of Russia’s Army.
