Lukashenko’s Official Visit to Vietnam Cancelled
The official visit of Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko to Vietnam was cancelled, Vietnamese authorities announced Monday.
Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko was expected to arrive in Vietnam Monday, but the visit was cancelled, Vietnamese authorities announced without specifying the reasons.
Widening bilateral economic was expected to be in the limelight of Lukashenko’s negotiations in Vietnam, the Foreign Ministry of the latter said some time earlier. The parties were getting ready to sign about ten agreements on partnership.
Belarus and Vietnam established diplomatic relations in January of 1992.
