Abramovich Richer by Another £3 Billion
For two years in a row, Roman Abramovich of Russia has been the second richest person in the annual Sunday Times Rich List of Britain.
Of interest is that the same individuals have led in the list for two years running. The richest person living in Britain is Indian tycoon Lakshmi Mittal, who is the chief of world biggest Mittal Steel Corp.
The second place is secured by Russia’s oligarch Roman Abramovich. The Russian grew his wealth by £3 billion in 2006 to £10.800 billion. He had just £7.500 billion past year.
Unlike Abramovich, Lakshmi Mittal stepped up the wealth only by £81 million this year to £14.881 billion from £14.800 billion past year.
