Gasprom May Buy YUKOS
June 1, If YUKOS assets are put on the market, Gazprom does not exclude the possibility of their purchasing, announced head of Gasprom strategical delopement department Vlada Rusakova.
According to Rusakova, the company’s oil and liquid hydrocarbons exctraction amounts to some 10 million tons a year, reports RBC. Earlier, deputy chairman of the board Alexander Ananenkov said that by the end of 2004 oil extracting business of the concern would be detached into a separate company.
