1961 On July 30, 1961, newspaper Pravda published a project of Third Program of Communist Party of Soviet Union (CPSU). This program gave a concrete time frame for completion of communism in USSR. The last phrase of the document said: ”The Party announces that the current generation of Soviet people would be living during communism!"
Many years after, Fedor BURLATSKY, one of the special group of scientists and writers participating in the program creation, said that the majority of the group was against inclusion of any economical forecasts and concrete terms. However, they could not persuade Nikita KRUSHEV to do it their way. As a result, the program with the "announcement" was approved on XXII Congress of CPSU.
