Churikova, Khamatova and Mironov - 2004 Idols
December 21, Famous theatre and cinema stars Inna Churikova, Chulpan Khamatova, and Evgeny Mironov are awarded the 2004 Kumir (Idol) prize, presented in the business circles, RIA Novosti reports.
The news agency was told by the organizing committee that the ceremony of awarding the golden star with diamonds will take place on December 21.
President of Kumir expert council writer Vladimir Voinovich thinks that the peculiarity of the award is in the fact that the winners are decided not by professionals, but by businessmen lovers of theatre, cinema and television.
“What I like about it is that they did not overestimate their abilities and said they would propose only the actors, whom they felt qualified to evaluate,” Voinovich said.
“Art must live, and must be supported, and it is good that there are people, who think about national culture and its creators,” the writer added.
