Boris Gryzlov and media.
April 28, Boris Gryzlov sees no need to introduce amendments relating to coverage of terrorist attacks to the law on media.
State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov believes there is no need to introduce amendments to the law on media relating to media coverage of terrorist attacks. "We have a sufficient legislative base for the media to react properly to a situation connected with the perpetration of terrorist attacks," the speaker said in commenting on the decision of the Duma's information policy committee to withdraw its amendment to the media law imposing a ban on television broadcasts showing the bodies of people killed in terrorist attacks.

"There were no actions following the coverage of the terrorist attack on Dubrovka that could have been interpreted as a violation of the media law,"Gryzlov said.
