Putin Approves Changes in Laws
April 27, Russian President has signed a federal law “On introducing changes to some acts of law of the Russian Federation.” Amendments have to do with transition of armed forces to contract basis.
In particular, the amended laws include the laws “On military duty and military service,” “On state dactyloscopic registration in the Russian Federation,” “On supplementary guaranties and compensations for the military, serving at the territories of Transcaucasia, the Baltic States, and Tajikistan Republic, as well as for those who serve under state of emergency and in armed conflicts,” PRIME-TASS reports.
