Russia and Ukraine Find Themselves in One Zone
April 20, Ukrainian Parliament ratified the agreement on United Economic Zone (EEP) with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Prime-Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich welcomed the deputies’ decision saying: “Everything that gives Ukraine more opportunities to promote goods, is a national interest.” At present, Russia-Ukraine trade volume makes up $2.64 billion, which is 28% higher than a year ago, RBC reports.
