Mikhail Yevdokimov Assumes Office
April 14, Mikhail Yevdokomov, who won the second round of gubernatorial elections in Altai Territory, has officially assumed office today. Over 500 people and organizations congratulated him on this event, including his colleagues from theater world.
The new Altai Governor declared that he had left the scene to engage himself in a “hard and laborious work on restoration of the territory’s economy and improvement of my countrymen’s life,” ITAR-TASS reports.
Mikhail Yevdokimov spent his childhood in Verh-Obskoe village of Smolensky district of Altai Territory, he worked at an engine plant in Altai and in the central farm of State Cattlebreeding Factory “Verkhneobsky.”
