Aeroflot Raises Its Prices
October 15, Aeroflot Russian Airlines intends to raise prices for its tickets by $10-15, Interfax news agency reports.
Company director Evgeny Bachurin announced on Thursday that the rise in ticket prices was to cover the cost of fuel. He said that the final decision would be made before the end of the month. In addition, Bachurin said that, after October, prices for tickets would be calculated in US dollars at the exchange rate set by the Central Bank of Russia plus 5 percent. “That is in accordance with all airlines flying into Russia,” he said. Aeroflot raised its prices on international flights by 5 percent earlier this year.
