Andrey Svinarenko - New Deputy Head of Ministry of Education
April 9, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov appointed Andrey Svinarenko Deputy Minister of Education and Science. Earlier he filled the post of First Deputy Minister of Industry, Science and Technology.
Andrey Svinarenko was born in 1953 and graduated from Moscow Institute of National Economy named after Plekhanov in 1974. From 1974 to 1995 he worked in RSFSR Price State Committee, USSR Ministry of Cattle-Breeding Engineering, USSR State Planning Committee, and RF Ministry of Economics. From 1995 to 1997 he was RF Deputy Minister of Economics. In 1997 he became first deputy of RF Minister of Economics. In June 2000, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Industry Science and Technology of the RF.
