Qatar to Deport a Russian Diplomat
March 24, Qatari officials have declared first secretary of the Russian embassy persona non grata. The diplomat has 24 hours to leave Qatar.
Let us remind you that on March 23, the Russian authorities set free the two Qatari citizens detained in February 2004 after two Russians were charged of the murder of former Chechen separatist leader Zelimkhan Yandarbiev.
March 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin also discussed the problems of relationships between the two countries with emir of Qatar over the telephone.
