Alexander Zhukov May Become Vice-Premier
March 2, Mikhail Fradkov, proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the post of Head of the Cabinet of Ministers, suggested the Duma Vice-Speaker Alexander Zhukov to be the first Vice-Premier.
"Mikhail Efremovich (Fradkov - Ъ)stated that he would like to see Alexander Zhukov at the post of the first deputy prime minister," said First Deputy Speaker of the Duma Lyubov Sliska after Fradkov's meeting with deputies of the United Russia faction, which is the Duma's majority, RIA Novosti reports.
