Russia’s Oil Output Sank 0.6 Percent
Russia produced 406 million tons of oil, including gas condensate, in January through October, having lowered the output by 0.6 percent on year, Interfax reported with reference to the federal statistics authority Rosstat.
At the same time, the ten-month gas production stepped up 1.4 percent on year to 540 billion cu meters, and primary refining gained 4.2 percent on year to 197 million tons from January through October.
According to Rosstat, the motor petrol output equaled 29.4 million tons, which corresponds to 101.5 percent of the output posted for January through October of 2007. The diesel fuel production totaled 57 million tons (104.6 percent).
Russia’s refineries produced 52 million tons of residual oil (101.9 percent) and 2.4 million tons of lubricant (102.8 percent) over the period.
