The chance is that the contract will be inked at the regular sitting of Intergovernmental Trade and Economic Cooperation Committee, which is scheduled to begin in Moscow November 24. Russia’s Emergency Minister Sergei Shoigu co-chairs the committee on behalf of Russia.
The Committee is expected to come up with two more vital decisions; one of them is creating Russia’s-Serbian venture to lay the 400km branch of the South Steam pipeline via Serbia, while the second project is completing construction of Banatski Dvor underground gas storage facility.
The deals are the integral part of the framework oil and gas agreement signed in Moscow January 25. A delegation of Gazprom will arrive in Belgrade November 17 for the final adjustment of terms.
