Pres. Has Full Sched. at G20
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will hold a number of bilateral meetings at the G20 summit in Washington, presidential aide Sergey Prikhodko told Interfax. He will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in advance of the start of the summit on the morning of November 15.
Then, after breakfast, Medvedev will meet with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and with members of the Foreign Affairs Council. That group is made up of American politicians and political scientists.
Prikhodko said that it was possible that the Russian president will also hold a short working meeting with U.S. President George W. Bush. However, it is more likely that “their last meeting will take place at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Lima, where they will have an in-depth conversation on the agenda of Russian-American relations and timely international topics,” Prikhodko said.
