Muammar al-Gaddafi Met with Lukashenko in Minsk
Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi has met today with Belarus' President Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk. Both leaders attended the ceremony of signing a few Belarus-Libyan agreements on customs and transport cooperation.
During their joint conference, the parties expressed common views on the foreign policy and emphasized their readiness to proceed with strengthening ties between their states.

The world has become unipolar on violation of the force balance, al-Gaddafi said, adding that no one follows the UN principles and the international rules are being breached.

Lukashenko agreed with the Libyan leader, pointing out that Belarus stands for the multipolar world as well.

Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi visited Russia October 31 through November 2. The sources say off-the-record that Russia and Libya clinched a civilian nuclear deal and agreed on the gas cooperation. The Kremlin hasn't officially commented on the information.
