Interfax Quoted More Than Any Other News Agency
Interfax has retained leadership amid the news agencies operating in Russia, showed the survey that was compiled based on the data of SCAN (System of Complex Analysis of News) and LexisNexis database to cover nine months of this year.
The survey analyzes the quoting frequency of eight biggest news agencies operating in Russia, including Interfax, RIA Novosti, ITAR-TASS, Reuters, Prime-TASS, RBC, Regnum, Rosbalt. For the purpose of adequate and fair rating, the own information products of the agencies were excluded from the survey.

Reuters followed with 15,111 references and RBC had 10,664. Prime-TASS was quoted no more than 6,517 times, Regnum had 4,196 and Rosbalt closed the list with 2,120.
