Russia’s Foreign Ministry Threatens to Impose Visa Regime on Ukraine
Moscow will probably have to introduce the visa regime for Ukraine if the latter joins NATO, Interfax reported with reference to Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin.
“Pushing the matter to raising the issue of visa regime between Russia and Ukraine, which will happen if Ukraine enters NATO, is by far not our choice,” Grigory Karasin emphasized in the interview with Ogonek magazine.
The consular structures will be ready for shifting to visa regime rather quickly… The question is different. Do our nations need it?” the official said.
