Russia’s GDP Grew 7.9 Percent in 7 Months
Russia’s GDP grew 7.9 percent in the first seven months, RIA Novosti reported with reference to Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina.
“The growth rates of gross domestic product remain rather high. It was 7.9 percent in the first seven months,” the minister said after the government’s meeting.
The real cash income of Russia’s population soared 7.0 percent on year in July, the RF Federal Statistics Service announced Thursday. On average, the real income stepped up 7.4 percent on year from January through July (the growth was 9.9 percent a year earlier, including 11.6 percent in July).
The real income increased 1.8 percent on month in July of 2008.
