Medvedev Urges to Call to Account for Assault on South Ossetia
The persons responsible for humanitarian catastrophe in South Ossetia should be called to account for it, including under the international laws, RF President Dmitry Medvedev announced Saturday.
Medvedev has committed the government, in particular the Emergency Ministry, Public Health Ministry, Federal Migration Service, to immediately take all necessary actions to provide the humanitarian aid to the nation of South Ossetia and Russia's peacekeepers.
Earlier on Saturday, Russia's military launched the operation for "peace enforcement" in South Ossetia.
