Russia Enforces Peace in South Ossetia
Russia's peacekeepers has set to the operation for enforcing peace in the area of Georgia's-South Ossetia's conflict, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the RF President Dmitry Medvedev.
"Our peacekeepers and the units sent to them are executing the operation for peace enforcement on Georgia. They are also responsible for protection of the population. We are dealing with all that now," Medvedev announced.

Tanks, motor rifle and intelligence units along with combat vehicles have arrived in the region. The battle jets are on alert in the nearest airports of Russia.
