Russia Launches Target Program for Tourism Development
A federal program for tourism development will be soon elaborated in Russia, Interfax reported Thursday with reference to Nadezhda Nazina from the RF Ministry for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy.
Nazina didn’t specify the exact date of new program’s emergence but said that “the ministry has certain worked-out proposals related to it.”

The tourism department of the ministry, Nazina went on, will get 50 million ruble from the budget in 2009 to promote tourism in Russia. Another 160 million ruble will be appropriated for advertising aimed at attracting tourists from overseas.
