FAS Attracts Police Against LUKOIL, TNK-BP, Rosneft
Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has attracted officers of Interior Ministry to make LUKOIL, Gazprom Neft, TNK-BP and Rosneft provide the data required for the antimonopoly probe.
The oil companies failed to provide the information needed for the investigation, FAS said, specifying that the deadline was August 1, 2008 and only Surgutneftegaz submitted the required data.

On August 4 and 5, Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service conducted the checking actions to get the required data from LUKOIL, Gazprom Neft, TNK-BP Holding, Rosneft. Officers of the RF Interior Ministry were attracted to the raids.

According to FAS, the extremely high prices of monopolistic nature on wholesale fuel markets of Russia and discriminatory conditions for buyers there are the signs of dominant standing abuse by a number of oil companies.
