Employment Quota Not to Extend to Nonresident Top Managers
Russia’s Health and Social Development Ministry intends to ease procedures for employing nonresident experts, Vedomosti reported. Amid other persons, top managers have been referred to the privileged category.
The document sets forth a list of occupation of highest proficiency which won’t be restricted by quotas on nonresident employment in Russia’s firms.

Meanwhile, the Moscow quota on employing nonresidents widened by 55,000 from July 1. The Federal Migration Service has suspended the issue of new permits to nonresidents on expiration of respective quota. The documents will be accepted again starting from the next week.

Some time ago, Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov voiced an intention to narrow three fold that quota for the city from 2008 through 2010.
