Probe Into Georgia’s Spy Drone Crash Isn’t Over
The investigation of the accident with Georgia’s spy drone hit in Abkhazia isn’t objective and complete, the RF Foreign Ministry announced.
A spy drone of Georgia was hit in Abkhazia’s air April 20. Tbilisi blamed the accident on Russia’s jet, claiming it was an act of aggression that Russia manifested against Georgia.
“We still have queries about validity of the so-called evidences that Georgia handed over to experts of the United Nations Observer Mission in Georgia,” the ministry said in the statement released on Tuesday.
The doubts aggravate because of the persistent unwillingness of Georgia to provide to Russia’s experts for inspection the files and evidences related to the accident, the ministry specified.
“Until this analysis has been carried out, we cannot deem the investigation objective and completed,” the RF Foreign Ministry concluded.
