Putin Demands Tough Control Over Money of State Corporations
The RF government should thoroughly control spending of state corporations and development institutions, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said during the Monday sitting of government’s presidium.
“The government, departments should continuously monitor projects related to spending this money,” Putin announced, recalling the 2007 capitalization of the most vital development institutions – the Development Bank, Investment Fund, Nanotechnology Corporation and the Fund for Reforming Housing and Communal Services.
“Overall, it is the question of roughly 640 billion rubles,” Putin pointed out.
Putin also reminded that the Supervisory Board of Development Bank is to meet on Monday. “We will consider a number of investment programs,” said the prime minister who is also the chairman of that board.
