RIAA Doesn’t Sue AllOfMP3.com
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has dropped charges to owners of Russia’s online store, AllOfMP3, Bloomberg reported without giving the reasons.
Once one of most popular music sites, AllOfMP3.com, was considered pirate in the United States and in some other countries. The creators were selling music under the group rights contracts with companies. This practice is regarded complying with Russian laws but they think different in the west. Winding up the site was called one of the key provisions for Russia’s admission to the WTO.

Big numbers of copyright violation suits were filed against the AllOfMP3.com creators, but Moscow Cheryomushkinsky Court found non-guilty the former boss of AllOfMP3.com in August 2007.

AllOfMP3.com was shut down in June 2007. A sort of a blog emerged instead of it releasing news on destiny of collapsed store. The site hasn’t been updated since December 2007.
