Putin to Reogranize Govt
Russia’s PM Vladimir Putin has suggested reorganizing the government. The actual proposal is to replace meetings of full cabinet by meetings of a new body, the government’s presidium.
The purpose to attain, Putin explained, is to improve efficiency of the cabinet’s work. “It’s evident to all of us, the government’s meetings are slow, excessively bureaucratic mechanism,” Putin pointed out.

The new PM wants presidium to include vice premiers and some ministers. Exactly these people will be deliberating on all vital issues each week, inviting the chiefs of other departments in case of need. In its all strength, the government may meet once a month, according to the PM plans.

When speaking of the cabinet’s concern in the nearest months, Putin specified that they will focus on elaborating the strategy for the country’ social and economic development till 2020.
