Average Salary in Moscow to Grow to $4,500 by 2025
The average salary in Moscow will step up to $4,500 by 2025, First Vice Mayor Yuri Roslyak told the reporters today.
The salaries in Moscow will increase to from 40,000 rubles to 45,000 rubles (vs. the current 23,000 rubles) by 2010. The salary will average 54,700 rubles in 2012, says the social and economic outlook for Moscow development up to 2012.
The salary of budget-sustained employees will go up to $3,500 in the following ten years, Roslyak said earlier, pointing out that salary should match revenues of people working at the enterprises of big/middle business.
The minimal living wage will increase as well, according to Moscow authorities. It will reach 11,000 rubles by 2012 vs. 6,500 rubles per capita in 2007 and 7,300 rubles per capita in 2008.
