Ukraine Ready to Assume Responsibility for Short Supplies of Russia’s Gas to Europe
Ukraine is ready to assume responsibility for short supplies of Russia’s gas to Europe, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko vowed, RIA Novosti reported.
Ukraine is ready to assume responsibility with all ensuing consequences, but for corrupt practices, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said when addressing the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg April 16, 2008. The first thing that my cabinet did was to wreck corruption.

This statement of Tymoshenko could be viewed as a response to the query of Russia’s MP, who asked whether Ukraine was ready to take up the risks for short supplies of Russia’s gas to Europe.
