Masterpieces to Grace Moscow Streets
Reproductions of paintings from the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts will be displayed on the sides of buildings in Moscow as part of the “Masterpieces on Moscow Streets” program between May 18 and October 18, reports prefect of the city's central administrative district Sergey Baidakov.
Baidakov said that reproductions of 58 paintings in the Pushkin Museum will be displayed. “Muscovites and visitor to the Russian capital will be able to see exact copies of pictures from the Pushkin Museum, which we will place on the streets in the center of the city in the least expected places, such as the sides of buildings,” the city official said.

Under the pictures, there will be an sign with telephone number on which a caller can hear recorded information about the artist who created the work and the work's history.
