RosUkrEnergo to Sell Fuel to Naftogaz on Russia’s Soil
Swiss trader RosUkrEnergo, with which Naftogaz entered into the contract for 2008 gas supplies, will be selling gas to Ukrainian holding in Russia, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko announced on Monday, RIA Novosti reported.
By demand of Russia’s authorities, by demand of Gazprom, RosUkrEnergo will remain for some time. But RosUkrEnergo won’t enter Ukraine, they will be supplying gas to Naftogaz in Russia, Tymoshenko said as quoted by the cabinet’s briefers.

Until recently, RosUkrEnergo had been the gas exporting monopoly for Ukraine, reselling the fuel via UkrGaz-Energo.

We have removed the intermediary, RosGaz-Energo, from the local market, Tymoshenko said, pointing out that exactly that intermediary had actually usurped all domestic market in Ukraine by using corrupt methods. Naftogaz is back to Ukraine, the PM went on, and it will be getting all gas from Russia and supplying it to Ukraine.
