Putin, Bush Discussed Future Get-Together in Sochi
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin attended yesterday the official dinner given on behalf of Romanian president for presidents and prime-ministers of the states participating in the NATO summit in Bucharest.
In time of the dinner, Vladimir Putin had a brief talk with U.S. President George W. Bush. “The leaders went through details of forthcoming bilateral meeting in Sochi, April 5 and 6,” said Alexei Gromov, the briefer of Russia’s president.

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso was another interlocutor of Vladimir Putin. The parties exchanged their views on Russia-EU summit that Khanty-Mansiysk hosts in June.

“During a brief conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the president and the chancellor discussed the agenda of high-level contacts,” the briefer added.

Vladimir Putin also spoke with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, whom he will meet in Moscow April 9.
