Guus Hiddink Inked New Contract with Russia
Chief coach of Russia’s football squad Guus Hiddink inked late Monday a new contract with Russian Football Union, RIA Novosti reported.
The new contract with Hiddink expires in July of 2010, said Russian Football Union briefer Andrei Malosolov.
According to the previous statement of Russian Football Union President Vitaly Mutko, the principal agreement with Hiddink had been attained far back in 2007. The contract details were agreed on by the end of past week.
Hiddink set to training Russia’s national team in summer of 2006. Led by this coach, the squad won the chance to play in EURO 2008 final matches in Austria and Switzerland.
