Foreign Policy to Be Released in Russian
The Russian edition of Foreign Policy will be launched in April, RIA Novosti reported referring to FP Russia chief François Roche.
The Russian-language magazine is scheduled to premier in a couple of weeks, Roche made clear at the Thursday press conference in RIA-Novosti. A half of it will be devoted to economy, and the remainder will cover geopolitics. The Russian analysts will write roughly a half of its articles, while another half will be the translation from French and English-language editions of FP.
The circulation is estimated at 10,000 to 15,000 copies and the Internet-edition will be launched in a while. Foreign Policy won’t cover domestic policy of Russia, focusing exclusively on the foreign policy topics that could be of interest to Russia’s audience.
Foreign Policy has been published in the United States for over 40 years. The French edition was first published in 2006.
