Russia Condemned Terror Act in Jerusalem
Russia has condemned the terror act in Jerusalem that killed eight pupils of the Jewish religious school, RIA Novosti reported March 7.
“We resolutely and unconditionally condemn this act,” said the RF Foreign Ministry’s official spokesman Mikhail Kamynin, pointing out that Russia recognizes the right of Israel, similar to the right of any other state, to protect lives, safety and welfare of the nation.

But the harmless civil population shouldn’t suffer from fighting the gunmen, Kamynin specified. Nowadays, Kamynin went on, it is necessary to do utmost to prevent extremists and terrorists from aborting negotiations, which progress isn't smooth even without that.

Nothing else but negotiations could lead to establishing the long, fair and universal peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis in the Middle East for the sake of all peoples living there, the diplomat said.

A Palestinian gunman broke into the territory of a religious school in Jerusalem March 6. He opened fire, killing at least eight people and wounding about seven in the most lethal attack in Israel in two years. An Israeli officer killed the attacker.
